Daily Itinerary

Day 1: January 15th, 2027 – Arrival in Cairo

Arrive at Cairo International Airport (CAI), where our representative will meet you before customs to assist with your entry visa and luggage. Transfer by private vehicle to your 5-star hotel in Giza.

Overnight: Giza

Day 2: January 16th, 2027 – Giza Plateau & Private Sphinx Access

After breakfast, explore the Giza Plateau, home to the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. Experience an exclusive one-hour private access visit inside the Sphinx enclosure. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant followed by a free evening at your leisure.

Day 3: January 17th, 2027 – Saqqara & The Serapeum

Discover the Saqqara necropolis, including the Step Pyramid of Djoser and the Pyramid of Unas. Visit the ancient Sound Healing Hospital complex and the subterranean Serapeum. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant before returning to the hotel.

Day 4: January 18th, 2027 – Fly to Luxor & Luxor Temple at Sunset

Check out and transfer to Cairo Airport for your morning flight to Luxor. Check in to your 5-star hotel and visit the illuminated Luxor Temple at sunset, linked to Karnak via the Avenue of Sphinxes.

Day 5: January 19th, 2027 – Abydos, Private Osirion Visit & Dendera

Depart early for Abydos to explore the Temple of Seti I and enter the Osirion with special private access. Enjoy lunch at the House of Life Hotel, then stop at the Temple of Hathor at Dendera on the drive back to Luxor.

Day 6: January 20th, 2027 – Karnak Temple Complex

Tour the vast Karnak Temple, one of the largest religious complexes in ancient history. Savor a group lunch at a local restaurant and spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing at the hotel.

Day 7: January 21st, 2027 – Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut & Return to Cairo

Check out and explore Luxor's West Bank, including the royal tombs in the Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. After lunch, transfer to Luxor Airport for your flight back to Cairo, followed by check-in at your Giza hotel.

Day 8: January 22nd, 2027 – Dahshur & The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM)

Travel to Dahshur to view the Bent Pyramid and the Red Pyramid. Spend the afternoon exploring the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) and its collection of over 80,000 ancient artifacts. Conclude the day with a group farewell lunch.

Day 9: January 23rd, 2027 – Departure

Check out of your hotel by 12:00 PM and take your scheduled private transfer to Cairo International Airport for your return flight home.

Tour Pricing & Rooming

Solo travelers looking to avoid the $580 single supplement can request to be paired with a roommate (room with two double beds) on a first-come, first-served basis. If no roommate match is available, the single supplement fee applies.

Included in Your Tour Package:

Five nights in Giza and three nights in Luxor at 5-star hotels with daily breakfast. Round-trip domestic flights between Cairo and Luxor. All airport transfers and ground transportation in a private, air-conditioned coach. Exclusive private entry permissions for both the Sphinx Enclosure and the Osirion at Abydos. Entry tickets to all scheduled monuments, temples, and the Grand Egyptian Museum. Fully guided sightseeing with an English-speaking Egyptologist guide, all tourism police permits, daily lunches during excursions, and all staff and driver tips.

Excluded from Your Tour Package:

International airfare to and from Cairo, Egyptian entry visa ($30 USD), comprehensive travel insurance, dinners, alcoholic beverages, and personal expenses.

Booking & Cancellation Policy

A non-refundable deposit of $1,000 USD per person is required upon confirmation to secure your spot. The final balance is due no later than December 1st, 2026 (6 weeks prior to departure). Please email a copy of your bank payment confirmation to info@selectegypt.com to speed up your registration.

Cancellations received between 30 and 25 days prior to departure incur a 50% penalty on the remaining balance. Cancellations between 24 and 20 days prior incur a 75% penalty. Cancellations received 19 days or fewer before departure are completely non-refundable.

Essential Travel Information

Flights and Airport Transfers:

Book international flights arriving into and departing from Cairo International Airport (CAI). Check-in begins on January 15th, 2027, and check-out is by 12:00 PM on January 23rd, 2027.

Pre- and Post-Tour Nights:

Extra hotel nights in Giza can be arranged on your behalf. Double rooms are $280 USD per night and single rooms are $260 USD per night, including breakfast.

Passport and Visa Requirements:

Your passport must remain valid through at least July 23rd, 2027 (six months beyond your travel dates). Citizens of the US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the EU can obtain a 30-day tourist visa on arrival for $30 USD cash or apply online for an official e-Visa before departure. Please submit a scanned copy of your passport photo page after booking for flight and permit reservations.
